Sinds 2008, delen we liefde, spel en gelach met kinderen in crisis over de hele wereld. Sinds 2021 ook vanuit Nederland als Stichting Flying Seagulls Nederland.
We’re just after your laughter
Met ons getrainde team van clowns, muzikanten en entertainers Creëren we een veilige omgeving om te kunnen spelen en lachen, te midden van moeilijke omstandigheden in Nederland en over de hele wereld.
Voor veel kinderen is spelen niet vanzelfsprekend, maar een luxe. Hun wereld is teruggebracht tot de dagelijkse moeilijkheden van het te vroeg volwassen worden. Wij gebruiken clowning, goochelen, spel en kunst om angst en onzekerheid te vervangen voor positieve mens-tot-mens connecties, gebaseerd op respect, geluk en gelach. Flying Seagulls Nederland geeft kindertijd terug aan kinderen in crisis.
Waarom we dit doen
Miljoenen kinderen, verspreid over de hele wereld, verliezen hun kindertijd aan armoede, eenzaamheid, conflicten of gedwongen verhuizing. Dit veroorzaakt blijvende schade die we niet kunnen negeren.
Flying Seagulls Nederland vindt dat iedereen, onafhankelijk van achtergrond of omstandigheden, op zou moeten groeien met de wetenschap bijzonder en waardevol te zijn en met warme, gelukkige herinneringen aan spelen en lachen.

Spelen geneest, verlicht, bouwt op en ondersteunt. Het is een essentieel recht van elk kind.
Wat voor activiteit we ook bieden, wij nemen alleen genoegen met het allerbeste.
Geen kind zou ooit een dag mee mogen maken zonder de hoop op een gniffel, grinnik of schaterlach.
